Giulia Bruno is an artist based in Berlin who works with photography and video. She has a MA in Biology at the Università degli Studi in Milan. She studied Photography at CFP Bauer and Filmmaking at Civica Scuola di Cinema Luchino Visconti, both in Milan. Her artistic and photographic research centers on technology, language and political and cultural activism. Giulia Bruno’s work explores the intersection between landscapes contradictions with reference to issues such as climate change, biodiversity and language justice. Her works have been exhibited internationally, and her film “Capital” won first prize at Visioni Italiane. ArtReview’s Future Greats selected her artistic research on language as a technological act in 2018. She is collaborating with Armin Linke for many years. Recently they developed the exhibition “Earth Indices” in collaboration with scientists from the Anthropocene Working Group for the Haus Der Kulturen Der Welt. “Matar la Nube,” created in collaboration with Paola Raheli, in exhibition in Mexico City with the support of the Italian Cultural Institute and Error, is the first chapter of an ongoing research project. It examines the ambiguities and contradictions of contemporary definitions of nature and its functions.

Paola Raheli has always been fascinated by fashion and design and has a natural inclination to listen and accommodate the needs of the people with whom she loves to interact and collaborate.
Paola Raheli has also a strong interest in communication. After moving to Berlin, she cultivated this interest and trasformed them in research hints.
Her works focuses on food dynamics and drawing. Her worlds start from memories connected to the “gold age” and the children memories and re-connect traces of landscapes affected by climate change with an utopistic view.
